Elaine Bailey Augustine Art Gallery presents the works of late Professor Emeritus Ron Shady, who taught at the University of North Alabama from 1979 to 2012. Ron served as Chair of the Department of Art from 1998–2007.  He was a versatile artist and taught ceramics, sculpture, graphic design, watercolor, and illustration. His work can be seen in private collections across the country, including Watts– Bar Nuclear Facility and private collections in other countries, but what really made him happiest was to create and teach.
