Graphic Design in Practice

Elaine Bailey Augustine Art Gallery presents the works showcasing profiles of three young artists. Graphic Design in Practice offers a snapshot of design’s reliance on the research process in cultural and social contexts. While Nazim-Starnes’ digital imaging comments on the timeless issue of cultural identity, McDonald’s work seeks to foster social and cultural awareness concerning the marginalized youth population, and Blokhina’s experiment tabbed social media to promote sustainability.
